You may list events relating to the Luce Line Trail on this page. Please let us know of your events and we will post them here once approved.

Permits

You will need a horse pass if you will be horseback riding, a ski pass for cross-country skiing, and for snowmobiling, a snowmobile must be registered or have a snowmobile state trail sticker. No other fees or passes are required to use the trail.

Organized, large-scale, non-motorized events on the Luce Line may require a special event permit. Contact the DNR at (651) 296-6157 or info.dnr@state.mn.us for details.

There may or may not be a charge, depending on the nature of the event. Generally, there is a charge for fundraising or commercial activities; other events may be held with no fee.

June 9, 2016: Thursday Evening Trail Walks

Time: 6pm – 7:30pm
Description: Thursday Evening Trail Walks May-Sept: 2nd Thursday of month Luce Line State Trail – Vicksburg parking area. 3rd Thursday of month Brown’s Creek State Trail – Neal Ave parking area. 4th Thursday of month Gateway State Trail – Ramsey County Court building parking area. 6-7:30 p.m. Explore the trail on foot to see what new mysteries we discover this week. Add to your miles for the 125 mile challenge!

July 10, 2016: Women’s Bike to Lunch on the Luce Line State Trail

Time: 10am – 2pm
Description: Plymouth to Ox Yoke Inn. Join the Naturalist on a ride along this old railroad corridor and discover some great places. We will ride 13 miles from Plymouth to the Ox Yoke Inn for lunch, then return to Plymouth. Bring your own bike and helmet.
Directions: Parking area off of 10th Ave N and Vicksburg Lane, Plymouth MN
